Returns

Please contact the wireless department by calling 643-7000 or by sending an email to wireless@berkeley.edu for the return policy for the various vendors including AT&T, Metro PCS, Sprint, T-Mobile, and Verizon.

After calling the wireless department, you must fill out the Return of Equipment form (Adobe PDF) and bring the completed form to Warren Hall at 2195 Hearst Ave. Your equipment is then considered returned and received by the Wireless Unit

In order to TO STOP THE BILLING OF YOUR EQUIPMENT you must submit a Shopping Cart Service Disconnect Order for disconnection of all the rental equipment.

Repairs

For repair requests, fill out the Wireless Repair Request Form (Adobe PDF).

Products can be dropped-off and picked-up at our Wireless Office located at Warren Hall at 2195 Hearst Ave.

Cell Phones and Pagers

If a Cellular and/or pager product cannot be repaired within the Wireless Services' Office, it will be sent out for repairs. The length of time for the product (to be repaired and returned) varies with each case. If a Pager is in need of repair, you will be provided with a replacement within 24 hours.

Cost: If the one-year warranty has not expired, there is no charge. However, there is a charge if the product's warranty has expired and requires a replacement model or repair.

Two-Way Radios

The Wireless Services' unit services all radios leased from CNS Wireless at no charge to the customer. There is only a charge when the repair is a result of negligence or improper use. Radios can be dropped off and picked up at 2484 Shattuck Avenue (across Dwight Way).
